CSOs condemn coalition’s strikes on Sanaa presidential office

SANAA, May 8 (YPA) – The Higher Council of the Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) on Tuesday condemned US-backed Saudi-led coalition airstrikes on the presidential office in central of the capital Sanaa, which led to killing and injuring dozens of civilians.

In a statement issued by the council, the CSOs denounced the continuation of the Saudi regime and its allies in deliberately targeting places of public gatherings and densely populated neighborhoods.

The statement held the United Nations, the Security Council and international organizations responsible for all crimes committed by the Saudi-led coalition countries against Yemeni people.

It called on all activists, free peoples and those concerned with humanitarian affairs around the world to condemn these heinous crimes.

On Monday, the coalition warplanes waged two airstrikes on the presidential office in central of the capital Sanaa, killing six civilians, wounding over 60 others, and causing sever damage to nearby buildings and private and public property.
