Service Ministry denies announcement of extension of Eid al-Fitr holiday
SANAA, May 30 (YPA) – The Ministry of Civil Service and Insurances confirmed that the official working hours after the blessed Eid Al-Fitr holiday were resumed on Saturday, May 30, 2020 AD, in all public service units of the central and local state in accordance with the circulars and announcements issued by the Ministry that regulate the periods of legal and official holidays.
In a statement, the Ministry of Service called on officials, cadres and employees of all state units, bodies and institutions that the suspicious and circulating advertisement in some sites and social media, which refers to extending the Eid al-Fitr holiday to June 11, was not issued by the ministry at all.
The Ministry confirmed that it will, from tomorrow, Sunday, May 31, 2020 AD, follow-up, evaluation and administrative inspection at the level of career discipline in all state institutions and raise the results of the Council of Ministers in accordance with the law and civil service legislation and implementation of the ministerial circular issued on Friday, which stressed the commitment to take preventive and precautionary measures in all state units.
