Hadramout governor in Hadi’s government survives assassination

HADRAMOUT, May 30 (YPA) – Governor of Hadramout province, appointed by Hadi government, Faraj al-Bahsni survived an assassination attempt on Saturday.

“Yemen News Portal” website quoted a security source as saying that the governor’s guarding arrested a number of those involved in planning the assassination, including employees at the province’s bureau.

The website added that the investigations revealed a large plan of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) to assassinate the governor with huge funding from the UAE, with the participation of several employees for large sums of money.
