FM official condemns human rights violations in America
SANAA, May 29 (YPA) – An official at the Foreign Ministry in the National Salvation Government condemned the killing of an African-American citizen in Minnesota, USA.
In a statement, the official described the incident as racist, which should be met with condemnation by the international community and human rights organizations.
The official pointed out that this act is not strange for the United States of America, which claims to be the guardian of human rights in the world, while it has a bad record in the field of human rights at home and abroad, including its contribution to crimes committed against the Yemeni people for the sixth year in a row.
The official called on the United States to respect human rights, to bring their violators to justice, and to address the racial discrimination that still affects the American people.
