Two killed, three wounded in Saudi-led airstrikes on Saada

SAADA, May 24 (YPA) – At least two civilians were killed and three others were wounded on Sunday ( First day of Eid al-fitr) when the US-backed Saudi-led coalition warplanes launched a series of airstrikes on several border districts of Saada province, northern Yemen, a security official said .

According to the official, the aggression targeted the citizens on the public road in the Maran area of Haydan district, killing two citizens and wounding three others as initial toll.

The official pointed out that the brutal air forces carried out three airstrikes on the border district of Shada, while populated villages in the districts of Razih and Shada were hit with Saudi rocket and artillery attacks, causing damage to citizens’ property.

He condemned the continued massacres against the Yemeni people, blaming the United Nations and the international community for these crimes.

The official called on all free people of the world to intervene to stop the aggression and lift the unjust blockade imposed on the Yemeni people by the Saudi-led coalition forces.
