Meteorology center expects heavy rains accompanied by thunderstorms

SANAA, May 21 (YPA) – The National Center for Meteorology expected on Thursday heavy rains accompanied by thunderstorms in several Yemeni province within the next 24 hours.

In its weather forecast, the center affirmed the rains would continue on separate parts of the mountain range of the western and southwestern highlands in the provinces of Hadhramaut, Marib, Lahj, Dheala, Abayn and Shabwa.

It also expected to record high temperatures on desert areas between 38 to 42 degrees Celsius, and 36 to 38 degrees Celsius with high relative humidity on coastal areas.
