Ministry of Health to reveal latest updates on Corona epidemic

SANAA, May 16 (YPA) – The Ministry of Public Health and Population in the National Salvation Government on Saturday to reveal an update on health conditions and the response to the new Corona virus epidemic in Yemen.

“We will hold a press conference on Saturday afternoon to talk about the latest developments in the Corona epidemic in Yemen,” the ministry said in a press release.

Earlier, the ministry announced that it had detected two confirmed cases of Corona virus, in the capital Sanaa.

The ministry said the first case for a Somali migrant who died in a hotel room in the capital Sanaa, and the second for  a citizen  comes from Sheikh Othman district in Aden province.

In contrast, Hadi’s government has confirmed that about 85 case of corona virus reported in all the occupied provinces.

According to statistics from the so-called Civil Status Department in Aden, burial permits were issued last week for some 600 deaths recorded in Aden, “most of which were recorded due to unknown causes.”
