US records sharp rise of death cases of coronavirus

SANAA, May 13 (YPA) -The United States has recorded 1,894 new death cases of coronavirus (COVID-19 ) during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 82,246, according to a Johns Hopkins University report.

.The figure shows a sharp rise in the world’s most affected country in terms of the number of deaths, after the number of people losing their lives as a result of Covid-19 fell below 1,000 on Sunday and Monday.

The number of confirmed casualties was 1,367,927, according to the Baltimore-based university.
