Army takes over military strategic positions in Bayda

BAYDA, May 10 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Sunday attacked and took over military strategic sites of the Saudi-led aggression coalition mercenaries in Bayda province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The official affirmed that the army controlled over al-Hamah strategic sites and al-Yisabel areas in Qanayah front, as well as the road linking between Radman district and Qanyah in the province.

The official said that the control of the army on these sites would lead to cut off the reinforcements on the aggression forces and blocking all roads leading from Qaniyah front towards Radman district.

The official added that the aggression fighter jets waged a series of strikes on Qanayah district to back their mercenaries to make any progress on the ground, but they failed.
