SANAA, May 5 (YPA) – At least three children were injured when a two-story house collapsed on Monday night in Musik area of Shaoub district, north of the capital Sanaa, due to the continuous falling of rains.
Director of the district Mahdi Arhab said that “the rescue teams headed to the house to rescue the affected families and take the injured to a hospital.”
“Two houses next to the collapsed house have cracks, which makes them vulnerable to falling at any moment,” said Abdu Hadid, director of the public works office in the district.
The capital Sanaa has been witnessing continuous rains since mid-April, amid continuous warnings launched by the National Meteorological Center of the torrents caused by heavy rains on most parts of the country.
