Qatar sends new medical aid to Iran

SANAA, April 29 (YPA) – Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, the emir of Qatar, on Tuesday evening ordered a new step toward Iran, sending a new shipment of medical aid.

Qatar’s official news agency QNA reported Tuesday evening that a new shipment of medical aid from Qatar to Iran, a volume of 16 tons, had arrived in the Iranian capital, Tehran.

The aid is part of Qatar’s support for the Iranian government’s efforts to combat the new Coronavirus (COVID 19), the agency said.
