Afghanistan: Suicide bombing kills 3, wounds dozens in Kabul

SANAA, April 29 (YPA) – A suicide bomber blew himself up in a suburb near the Afghan capital Kabul, killing three people and wounding dozens,  a spokesman for the Afghan interior ministry said on Wednesday, according to Reuters.

“A suicide bomber blew himself up among civilians in Rish Khor area of the Charassiab suburb of Kabul on Wednesday morning,” Tariq Aryan, a spokesman for the Ministry of Interior.

“The suicide bombing killed three people and injured dozens. The wounded were taken to hospitals for treatment,” the statement said.

“The Afghan authorities conduct investigation in order to find our who is responsible for the terrorist act,” the statement concluded.

The suburb is about 11 km (10 miles) from Kabul.
