STC militias deploy forces in vicinity of Aden airport

ADEN, April 23 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militias on Thursday deployed their forces in the vicinity of Aden International Airport, according to sources.

The sources confirmed that the STC’s militias vowed to prevent the arrival of a plane carrying officials, including the head of the Saudi-backed exiled Hadi government, in Aden city.

The militias imposed a military siege on Aden airport, threatening to target any plane trying to land at the airport,the sources added.
