SANAA, April 23 (YPA) – The Saudi border fronts have been witnessing a wave of insurgency among Hadi’s forces, deployed along the Yemeni border in Jizan, Najran and Asir, due to Saudi Arabia’s refusal to pay their salaries, which have been suspended for seven months.
A video circulated by activists today showed Saudi forces shooting at a group of ” Duty brigade and the 7th Brigade recruits” as they tried to advance towards the Al-Hamra area of Jizan, demanding their deportation to Yemen.
Military sources revealed that Saudi forces have carried out a large-scale arrest campaign among Hadi’s forces in an attempt to control the escalating insurgency.
According to the sources, Saudi forces today stormed the 63rd Brigade and arrested 38 officers and members of the general demonstrators.
The beginning of the demonstrations broke out at the headquarters of the 3rd Brigade of Oroubah, but soon expanded to include the 63rd Brigade, the 7th Brigade and the Duty Brigade.
