Prisoners’ Affairs Committee reveals prisoner exchange in Marib

SANAA, April 22 (YPA) – Head of the National Committee for Prisoners’ Affairs Abdelqader al-Mortada on Wednesday announced the success of a new prisoner exchange with the other party on Marib front.

“The Prisoners Committee managed to liberate eight prisoners from the army and the popular committees in an exchange deal through local mediation in Marib front,” said al-Mortada in a statement.

On April 8, nine prisoners of the army and popular committees were liberated in two exchanges on Jawf and West Coast fronts through local mediators, according to the committee.
