Germany reports news 1,775, coronavirus cases

SANAA, April 20 (YPA) – Germany’s confirmed that 1,775 new cases of coronavirus have been recorded, bringing the total number to 141,672, the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) for infectious diseases reported on Monday.

The institute also said that 110 death cases of Covid-19 have been reported, brining the death toll to 4,404.

The new figures finally reinforce hope that the epidemic is on a downward trend in the country, with a steady decline in the number of daily infections, with authorities reporting 3,609 cases on Saturday and 2,458 on Sunday, while the number of deaths also declined from 299 on Friday to 243 on Saturday and 184 On Sunday.

Germany has become one of the countries hardest hit by the Coronavirus outbreak, ranking fifth infected, after the United States, Italy, Spain and France.
