Coalition forces continue to bomb Hodeidah violating Sweden agreement

HODEIDAH, April 19 (YPA) – Saudi-led coalition forces on Sunday continued to bomb populated areas and villages of Hodeidah province with hundreds of artillery shells, in a dangerous escalation violating Sweden agreement.

The coalition forces fired more than 177 artillery shells since early morning on the populated areas north of Maghari village and Muthallath al-Odein, according to security sources.

The sources confirmed that more than 20 artillery shells were fired by the coalition forces at civilians’ villages and separate areas in Hayis district.

Al-Dhubyani neighborhood and several places in the 50th Street were also bombarded with a number of artillery shells and various weapons fire, the sources added.

On Saturday, a woman was killed by a mortar shell fired by the coalition forces on the besieged city of al-Durayhimi.

During the first half of April, Yemen Press Agency monitored in a special report 1,303 violations of Sweden Agreement committed by the coalition forces in Hodeidah.
