SANAA, April 18 (YPA) – Saudi Arabia’s civil defense teams announced, on Friday evening the control of a fire in a Saudi oil tanker.
The Saudi newspaper “Okaz” stated that the civil defense teams in the Tabuk region controlled a fire in an oil tanker on the road to Qulaybah Center.
The Saudi newspaper quoted the media spokesman in the Directorate of Civil Defense, Major Abdulaziz Al-Shammari, as saying that the Control and Orientation Center received a report on Friday evening a fire accident incident on the road to Qulaybah Center.
Al-Shammari explained that the civil defense teams moved and upon reaching the site where the accident was reported, it became clear that “the accident is a fire in the framework of an oil tanker loaded with diesel fuel, and it was controlled before moving to the cargo.”
Al-Shammari indicated that coordination had been made with the carrier to unload the cargo in another tanker, and the incident was handed over to the competent authority.
