National Meteorological Center warns of situation of instability in most of provinces

SANAA, April 16 (YPA) – The National Meteorological Center on Thursday warned of torrential rain, sea disturbance and high temperatures in several areas of the country within next 24 hours.

The Center said in its warning weather “Opportunities are still open for moderate and heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms, strong winds and hail showers on the mountain range of the western highlands of Taiz and Lahj provinces in the south to Saada province in the north.

He pointed out that this atmosphere extends eastward to the inner plateaux to reach Hadramaut and Mahra deserts, while the rain covers the western, southern and eastern coasts and the interior adjacent to them.

The Meteorological Center called on citizens in the areas where it is expected to rain not to be present in the bottoms of valleys and torrents of rain during the coming 24 hours.
