Army’s spokesman : Our forces inflict coalition’s mercenaries heavy losses in Jawf

SANAA, April 15 (YPA) – The Yemeni army’s spokesman, Yahya Serie announced on Wednesday evening that the army’s forces were able to repel a wide-scale attack of US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition’s mercenaries in Jawf province, he said in a statement.

He declared that the army foild an infiltration attempt of the mercenaries from several sides in Khub Washaaf district.

“Our forces were able to repel the infiltration, inflict the enemy heavy losses in lives and equipment, destroy several armored vehicles, killed and wounded dozens of them”, he said.

Yahya Serie confirmed that coalition’s warplanes waged 17 air strikes on Sirwah district of Marib province and three raids on Boqaa area of Najran border province.

The coalition carried out four infiltrations and launched 46 air strikes over the past 24 hours.

In the morning, Yahya Serie revealed that the army and popular committees foiled two wide-scale attacks of the mercenaries in Majzar and Sirwah districts of Marib province.
