Ministry of Electricity and Energy sets new tariff for KWh

SANAA, April 12 (YPA) – The Ministry of Electricity and Energy has set a new tariff for energy consumption per kilowatt (KWh) of electricity by 205 riyals.

Minister of Electricity and Energy Ateiq Hussein Abbar explained that the ceiling for the tariff on the sale of electricity to owners of private generators was set at 205 riyals per kilowatt.

He stressed that the relevant authorities should abide by this decision and previous decisions concerning monthly subscription.
