Baghdad denies meeting between Iraqi President, US Secretary of Defense

SANAA, April 12 (YPA) – Sources in the Iraqi presidency denied the truth of the news of a meeting between President Barham Saleh and US Defense Secretary Mark Esber, describing these reports as false and misleading.
The website “Alsumaria News” quoted a source close to President Saleh as saying: “What has been circulated in a number of media outlets regarding the meeting of the President of the Republic Barham Saleh and the American Defense Minister at Ain al-Assad base in Anbar is false and false.”

The source pointed out that these news are misleading and void and not related to the truth, calling on the media to adhere to professionalism, objectivity and accuracy in disseminating the news and taking information from its official sources.
