SAADA, April 9 (YPA) – Saada governor Mohammad Jaber Awad, discussed in a meeting on Thursday the humanitarian interventions being implemented by OCHA in facing the corona virus.
The move came during his meeting with Osama Bitar, director of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in Yemen.
The governor stressed on the importance of the role played by the OCHA in providing the necessary medical needs to confront the virus.
Awad explained that the province would need to open 15 health centers and provide protection projects, shelter materials, food and spraying, and allocate funds to health centers, according to the agreement with the OCHA.
