Violent clashes erupt between tribal gunmen in Hadramout

HADRAMOUT, April 9 (YPA) – Violent clashes with various types of weapons erupted on Thursday between tribal gunmen in Hadramout province, eastern Yemen.

The clashes broke out between Al Kedah and Al Abdulaziz tribes in al-Qarah area in Shibam city as a result of dispute on a plot of land, according to local sources in the province.

On Tuesday, Deputy Director of the Political Security in Hadramout Hussein bin Abdulaziz al-Kathiri, nicknamed “Al-Qusayr”, was killed by gunmen against a backdrop of dispute on a land in Shaqiya area of Shibam Hadramout city.
