Socotra governor loyal to coalition survives assassination attempt

SANAA, April 8 (YPA) – Socotra governor appointed by the Saudi-backed exile Hadi’s government survived on Wednesday an assassination attempt in the province, according to military sources.

The sources affirmed that UAE occupation militias in the province attacked a home of the governor Ramzi Mahrous in the Island, which the clashes between bodyguards of the governor and the militants broke out.

Meanwhile, Islah militants waged a counter-attack and besieged the UAE occupation militias, and arrested 30 elements of the militias nearby the Hawf port in the province, the sources added.
