Saudi Arabia reports new 147 coronavirus infections

SANAA, April 7 (YPA) – Saudi Arabia Authorities reported on Teusady that 147 new infections of coronavirus (COVED 19) have been recorded, bringing the total number to  2,163.

According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of cases recorded in the Kingdom so far has reached 2,752, of which 551 have been recovered.

On Monday, Saudi Arabia announced a 24-hour curfew in cities including the capital Riyad as part of precautionary measures against coronavirus, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

The curfew will be imposed on the cities of Riyadh, Tabuk, Dammam, Dhahran and Hofuf and throughout the governorates of Jeddah, Taif, Qatif and Khobar, an official of the interior ministry said in a statement.
