Socotra is part of Yemen, and will remain Yemeni, Houthi says

SANAA, May 5 (YPA) – Chief of Yemen’s Revolutionary Committee Mohamed Ali al-Houthi confirmed that Socotra Island is a part of Yemen and will remain Yemeni island.

In a tweet, he said that “Socotra is a  Yemeni territory and will remain Yemeni,” adding that what is happening is Socotra is a compelling evidence of the failure of their project in  Island.

In another tweet, he commented on the UAE minister Gargash, saying “we say to those who claim to have relations with the Socotra people, first, make your relations with the Emiratis, because you are still an outsider.

The island of Socotra witnessed high tension and a new chapter of security chaos caused by Saudi -UAE occupation forces.
