Sayyed Abdul-Malik offers Riyadh deal to exchange Saudi pilots, officers for releasing Hamas prisoners
SANAA, March 26 (YPA) – Leader of the Revolution Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi has on Thursday revealed fate of a number of Saudi pilots, whose fate was unclear, after the downing of the Tornado plane over Jawf province, on February 14th.
The move came during his speech Thursday afternoon, on the occasion of the National Day of Steadfastness.
Sayyed Abdul-Malik announced Sanaa’s readiness to release one of the captured pilots along with four Saudi officers and soldiers in exchange for the release of Hamas abductees in Saudi Arabia.
He condemned Saudi authorities’ kidnapping and prosecution of Hamas members, stressing Yemen’s firm position in standing by the Palestinian people and condemning all forms of conspiracy against it.
Sayyed Abdul-Malik said the Saudi regime is persecuting Palestinian abductees on charges of supporting a “terrorist” group and means the mujahedeen in the Palestinian resistance.
He also announced an initiative for prisoners, stressing Sanaa’s full readiness to complete the prisoner exchange that the coalition of aggression has been distancing itself from.
He praised the honorable positions of all the supporters and solidarity with our people, especially the Islamic Republic of Iran, which Sayyed Abdul-Malik said had the clearest and most sincere position despite its unjust blockade and targeting, but that it stands with the vulnerable peoples.
Leader of the revolution also praised the positive, solidarity and pro-Yemeni stance of Hezbollah in Lebanon and the free peoples of Iraq, Syria and the rest of the world.
