ADEN, March 24 (YPA) – Several gunmen were killed and others wounded on Tuesday in fierce clashes broke out in Yemen’s southern city of Aden, sources said.
According to the sources, the clashes erupted between the Southern Transitional Council militias and Fadhl Baesh’s militants at the Central Bank’s entrances in Crater district, destroying also two military vehicles.
The clashes came after an attempt to arrest Deputy Minister of the Interior in the Saudi-backed exiled Hadi’s government” Mohammad Musaed.
Aden city has seen violent clashes and conflicts between the Saudi-UAE aggression coalition militants for four years, after military intervention led by the Saudi-led coalition in 2015 against Yemen.
