Gunmen attack displaced camp in Lahj

LAHJ, March 24 (YPA) – On Tuesday, gunmen launched an attack on a camp for the displaced people from northern provinces in Lahj, north of Aden, local sources said.

According to the local sources, unknown gunmen threw two bombs inside Al-Anad camp in Hayn district.

No casualties have been reported.

The source pointed out that this attack comes in the context of the systematic targeting of the displaced in an attempt to force them to leave the camp.

The displaced people in Kharaz camp were forced to leave after the escalation of violations against them.

Over the past 5 years, the displaced people, whom most of them from the marginalized groups in the West Coast remained vulnerable to such types of attacks.
