Outlets to, from invaders’ control areas closed

TAIZ, March 18 (YPA) – The technical committee for combating epidemics in  Taiz province, in its meeting on Wednesday headed by the governor, head of the committee, Salim Muhammad Mughals, approved the precautionary measures to confront the Corona virus.
The committee approved the closure of all crossings and roads that separate the parts that fall under the authority of the Supreme Political Council and are subject to the forces of occupation and mercenaries in Taiz and provinces of Lahj, Aden and Dhalea and stop flights to and from these provinces until further notice.
The committee pointed out that the decision comes in the context of precautionary measures to confront the Corona virus and based on the decision of the General Land Transport Authority.
The committee also approved the closure of all events halls, public and private gardens, traditional steam baths, and public breaks from lokendans, starting on Thursday, temporarily.
The committee urged all citizens and owners of stores, shops, restaurants and others to take health preventive measures and avoid crowded places.
The committee called on the organizations, supporters and philanthropists to actively contribute by providing the necessary assistance and support to the health sector in the province, in a manner that ensures the response to this virus.
