Security official survives assassination attempt in Socotra

SOCOTRA, March 18 (YPA) – A security official loyal to the Saudi-led aggression coalition survived on Wednesday an assassination attempt in Socotra province, according to sources.

The sources said the UAE occupation forces launched an attack to target a security director in Socotra Island, appointed by the Saudi-backed exiled Hadi’s government.

On Tuesday, a UAE delegate in the island directed his armed men to storm Socotra port and to release a military armored vehicle that was seized and discovered by security inside one of the commercial containers coming from the UAE.
