Islah militants prepare militarily to confront STC militias in Abayn

ABYAN, March 18 (YPA) – The Saudi-backed Islah militants organized on Wednesday military manoeuvres to confront the UAE backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militias, sources said.

The sources affirmed that military maneuver that carried out by the Islah Party in Shaqrah city came as part of the combat preparations to confront the STC militias in the province.

The Islah party took the coastal city of Shakra as headquarters for its militants after the STC militias controlled over Aden city and most of the districts of Abyan governorate in August 2019.
