Serbia elections postpone due to Coronavirus
SANAA, March 17 (YPA) – Serbia’s state Election Commission announced on Monday the postponement of the general elections that were to be held on the 26th of next April due to the outbreak of the new Coruna virus.
“All the deadlines regarding the election process will be set after the end of the state of emergency, the Commission said in a statement.
On Sunday, Serbian President Alexander Vojcic, who heads the ruling Serbian Progressive Party, declared a state of emergency in an attempt to stem the spread of the Coruna virus.
