Coalition forces prevent fishermen from entering sea, threaten to kill them

HODEIDA, May 3 (YPA) – The Saudi-led coalition warplanes dropped warning leaflets in Hodeida province for the owners of boats and fishermen, warning them not to cross the coast and deeper in the sea in search of their livelihood, under the pretext that the Yemeni coasts became a  military area of the coalition operations.

According to warning leaflets seen by Yemeni Press Agency, the coalition threatens fishermen by targeting their fishing boats as legitimate military targets of their battleships deployed along the west coast of the country.

On Saturday, the Saudi-led coalition warships bombed fishermen’s boats off the coast of Hodeida, killing one of them and burning a number of fishing boats.
