Jordan detains three “STC” leaders

SANAA – The Vice President of the Southern Transitional Council, Hani Bin Brik admitted that Jordanian authorities  have detained three STC’s leaders and prevented them from returning to Yemen.

Hani Bin Brik said in a tweet that the leadership of the Council is waiting for a clarification on the circumstances of the detention of three leaders of the pro-UAE council at the Queen Alia Airport in the Jordanian capital, and prevent their return to Aden province.

“Going too far will lead to unwelcome setbacks, the consequences for everyone,” Ben Brik said, referring to a threat to the Saudis.

The newspaper “Aden al-Ghad” quoted sources in the “Council”, that the Jordanian intelligence service, arrested Shalal Shaya appointed by “Hadi” director as security director of Aden province and the leaders of the council Nasser al-Khubji and Abdul Rahman Sheikh at the Airport of Queen Alia.

The Jordanian authorities informed the detainees that they could not continue to travel to Yemen or enter the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, according to the newspaper.
