Army inflicts coalition forces heavy casualties in Marib

MARIB, March 11 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Wednesday inflicted the Saudi-led aggression coalition forces the heavy casualties in an attack on sites in Serwah district of Marib province, a military official said.

The coalition forces and mercenaries were targeted while trying to advance towards Hailan and al-Mashja mountains sites in the district.

The official added that the army waged a counterattack against the mercenaries, taking over strategic sites of al-Talah al-Hamra, which is considered as the last area under the coalition and mercenaries’ control in Serwah district.

Earlier in the day, the army foiled an infiltration attempt carried out by the mercenaries towards the army’s sites in the same area, killing and wounding dozens of the mercenaries.
