SANAA, March 10 (YPA) – Member of the Supreme Political Council, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi praised the statement issued by the UN mission in support of the Hodeidah Agreement,
The statement condemned the escalation of Saudi-led coalition’s airstrikes as “worrying” and “hindering the peace process and threatening the implementation of the Hodeidah agreement.”
In a tweet at midnight on Sunday, Mohammed al-Houthi said: “The head of the redeployment committee confirms that air strikes are hampering the peace process and threatening the implementation of the Hodeidah Agreement.” However, al-Houthi expected the mission to come under pressure from the Alliance.
“I think the aggression will force the mission if it can make a similar statement that will lead to this situation or show a reversal, and we hope that this will not happen to them,” he said in a tweet.
The chairman of the UN’s Redeployment Coordination Committee … (retired) Abhijit Joha criticized coalition air strikes on the al-Salif directorate. “He expresses concern about the air strikes that took place in al-Salif directorate,” according to the statement.
“It confirms that these air strikes impede the peace process and threaten the implementation of the Hodeidah Agreement,” General Goha said in a statement issued by his office.
He called on “the parties to continue joint action through the Redeployment Coordination Committee, the calming mechanism and the strengthening of the ceasefire.”
