SANAA, March 5 (YPA) – Former United Nations Secretary-General Javier Pérez de Cuéllar died on Wednesday night at the age of 100 at his home in the capital of Peru, Lima.
De Quiare’s son was reported by local media as saying that his father died after a struggle with the disease that lasted for several weeks.
Javier Pérez de Cuéllar served as Secretary-General of the United Nations for two consecutive terms from January 1, 1982 to January 1, 1992.
