President al-Mashat approves decision to promote Yemeni army’s officers, personnel

SANAA, March 3 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat approved on Tuesday a decision of the National Defense Council to grant legal promotions to personnel and officers of the military and security institutions.

Al-Mashat directed Ministry of Defense and Interior to complete the necessary measures to implement the decision, while the financial impact to be delayed until improving Yemen’s economic conditions.

On February 19, 2020, the National Defense Council held a meeting to grant the military promotions to everyone joining to the military and security institutions to defend the homeland and its sovereignty and repulse the Saudi-led aggression coalition and its plots.
