Yemen Scholars condemn racist persecution against Muslims in India

SANAA, March 3 (YPA) – Yemen Scholars Association on Tuesday condemned the racist persecution and brutal aggression against Muslims in India.

“We condemn the racist persecution and brutal aggression on our Muslim brothers in India, and we hold the Indian government responsible for these crimes and their consequences,” the Association said in a statement.

The statement called upon the sons of the Islamic Ummah to stand by their Muslim brothers in India, to show solidarity with them, and to take a serious and effective move to stop the aggression against them.

Muslims in India are subjected to acts of persecution and racist violations, which intensified dramatically during the past few days, against the background of a new law that the Indian authorities seek to implement, which stipulates depriving Muslims of Indian nationality.
