Islah militias take over camp of STC’s militiamen in Shabwa

SHABWA, Feb. 23 (YPA) – Islah party’s militias took over on Sunday the most important camp of southern transitional council (STC)’ militias in Shabwa province, sources told Yemen Press Agency.

Saudi armored and military pick-up vehicles belonging to Islah militia stormed al-Dhahirah village in Jardan district and took over the camp of a battalion loyal to the STC.

Islah militants were able to take over several military checkpoints and seize various weapons.
