Saudi forces take over Shahan port in Mahrah

SANAA, Feb. 22 (YPA) – The Saudi occupation forces on Saturday militarily took over Shahan border port in Mahrah province, east of Yemen, a military official said.

The official affirmed that the Saudi forces established military sites and observation points on several hilltops overlooking the border port with Oman.

The military escalation by the Saudi occupation came after Mahrah’s tribal gunmen had rejected handing over the main gates of the port to the Saudi forces.
