Yemeni Foreign Minister praises Iran’s parliamentary elections

SANAA, Feb. 22 (YPA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs Hisham Sharaf on Saturday said that holding parliamentary elections in the brotherly Islamic Republic of Iran, despite the blockade, the sanctions and conspiracies against the country, is considered a historic achievement.

In a congratulatory cable he sent to his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif, Sharaf affirmed that this popular entitlement reflects the wisdom of the political leadership and the brotherly Iranian people, and the determination to move forward in strengthening the democratic approach.
