Israeli enemy to build 9000 settlement units
SANAA, Feb. 19 (YPA) – The Zionist enemy authorities prepared a very large plan to build about 9,000 settlement units on the lands of the abandoned al-Quds International Airport (Qalandia) north of occupied al-Quds.
According to the “Peace Now” movement, which published the news, “Israel began preparing for the project about 10 days ago and will link it between Qalandiya Airport and up to the Apartheid Wall.”
By linking the project to the racist wall, the enemy authorities are trying to separate the new settlement neighborhood from the Palestinian areas around al-Quds as “Kafr Aqab”.
It is expected that the project will be built on about 1,200 acres to include between 6 thousand and 900 settlement housing units.
The project will also contain commercial centers with an area of 300 thousand square meters, and 45 thousand square meters to be allocated to “operating areas”, hotel and water tanks.
