Humanitarian Affairs Council condemns coalition crime against civilians in Jawf
SANAA, Feb. 16 (YPA) – The Supreme Council for the Administration and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation condemned the hideous and brutal crime committed on Saturday morning by Saudi-led coalition aircraft in al-Masloub district of Jawf province, which left dozens of dead and wounded, including women and children.
In a statement, the Council clarified that the crime represented a flagrant violation of the rules of international law, especially international humanitarian law and international human rights law.
The statement pointed out that this crime indicates that the countries of the aggression coalition continue to commit war crimes against humanity and civilians in light of the shame of the international community.
The statement called on the international community to assume its responsibilities in condemning these crimes against innocent civilians in Yemen.
