Coalition forces bomb civilians’ areas in Hodeidah with rockets, shells

HODEIDAH, Feb. 15 (YPA) – Saudi-led coalition mercenary forces on Saturday waged rocketry and artillery bombardment on civilians’ areas in several districts of Hodeidah province, in a continual violation of Sweden Agreement.

The coalition forces fired 15 Katyusha rockets and artillery shells at citizens’ homes and farms in al-Jarba villages and al-Manqom area in the besieged al-Durayhimi district, a security official told Yemen Press Agency.

The official said that the civilians’ areas north and east of Hays district were bombed by the coalition forces with more than 13 mortar shells.

The coalition forces’ guided missiles and artillery shells also targeted al-Za’faran and Mahal al-Sheikh villages in Kilo 16 area.

The coalition forces’ bombardment caused large damage to citizens’ homes and property in the targeted areas, the official added.
