Yemen Army Causes Heavy Losses To Coalition Troops In Several Fronts
SANAA, April 29 (YPA) – The Yemeni army forces caused on Sunday heavy losses in lives and gear to Saudi-led coalition troops in several border and inland fronts, an official told Yemen Press Agency.
In border fronts, the army repelled an infiltration of Saudi soldiers toward Al-Dood mountain, inflicting heavy losses on their ranks despite the coalition’s warplanes support.
In inland fronts, dozens of coalition-backed militia were killed in a blast targeted their military vehicle in an ambush with an explosive device in Qaifa front in Bayda province.
In Taiz province, the army’s artillery shelled the coalition-backed militias’ gatherings in Al-Hamli front, while a military vehicle was destroyed in an ambush with an explosive device in north of Mauzaa district.
