Marib liberation battle is imminent after failure of coalition’s last bets: Military expert

SANAA, Jan. 29 (YPA) – The researcher and expert in military affairs Brigadier General Abed al-Thour said Wednesday that “Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous” operation exceeded the reasonable in the military wars history by liberating over 2500 square kilometers in the eastern front of Sanaa province.

In a statement to Yemen Press Agency, Brig. Gen. al-Thour affirmed that the Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous operation has foiled the recent bets of Saudi-led coalition in Nehim front of Sanaa and in Jawf and Marib provinces.

The military expert noted that the battle of liberating Marib became very close, and that the next was no longer greater than what had been achieved.

“This counter-attack operation on the coalition forces is the largest since the beginning of the war on Yemen in terms of the breadth of the operational theater, exceeding military dimensions of the previous operations, he explained.

He said that the Yemeni armed forces became able to carry out air attacks by drones in the Saudi depth and neutralize the coalition aircraft in the Yemeni airspace.
