One gunman killed in attack in Abyan

ABYAN, Jan. 26 (YPA) – A gunman of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militias was killed and two others were injured on Sunday in an attack targeting their sites in Yemen’s southern province of Abayn.

According sources, the Saudi-backed Islah Party militants waged an attack against a gathering of the STC militias in al-Qawz area of Mawdih city.

The Islah party pushed great military reinforcements to the coastal areas in Abyan and Shabwah to besiege Aden city in light of military escalation and tension with the STC.
